I entered that day in the 'calendar' function at the bottom of the "Post a new topic" window, and now the event is easily visible in the 'Calendar' section of the forum.

So basically,
1) Enter the date in the calendar section of the "Post a new topic" window
2) Feel free to make specific prayer requests (Bernie, job promotion, etc.) but they are optional
3) Posting a picture can help a lot, especially for we visually-oriented people, but it is also optional.
