The presence of Christ
Last night I felt the presence of Christ. I was meditating and I felt a golden light shine down into my body from above. It was warm and loving and there was a knowing that it was Jesus, and that he was really here. It's hard to believe at times, that Jesus Christ, one of the most famous people in history, was right there with ME, some dork. But the more strongly I believed it, the stronger the presence and inner light became. I prayed and communicated with him, thanking him, asking for this and apologizing for that and mostly just admitting how confused I am about how to handle the situation. It lasted for between 30 mins and an hour, before the disbelief regained dominance in my consciousness.

Re: The presence of Christ
That's pretty wild, Mike.
Have you ever done the meditation to attune to Christ Consciousness on ARJ? The first time I did it I really asked to be given a taste of Christ Love and the energy was overwhelming, to the point where I basically shut down from too much energy. It was an incredible amount of Love...
I did it a few more times afterwards, but wasn't able to really get that same feeling again.
It's cool to hear how long your experience lasted.

Re: The presence of Christ
It did last a good while, but it wasn't nearly as intense as you described. Still, the presence was unmistakeable.
It seems like the beginnings of spiritual experiences, or the first time we have a specific experience, is the most intense, because we have no expectations.
Btw I have tried that attunement meditation on ARJ--I never got too 'into' it though. Perhaps soon I'll try again with more gusto...
